The police control room received a call on August 3 regarding a man who was found murdered near Ghazipur Mandi. The police reached the spot and found that the body was wrapped in a cover and there was a tattoo, which read ‘Sunny’, on the arm.
During investigation, the victim was identified and it was found that he had been involved in five cases of murder and robbery, they said. “It was also revealed that on the night of August 2, he had passed some comment on Zile’s wife, which did not go down well with Zile and Mahender who considers Zile’s wife as his sister. The two shot Sunny dead, wrapped his body in a cover and dumped it in Ghazipur,” Mr Singh said.
The police said that the victim and the accused used to drink together.
Zile is a bad character of Nand Nagri and Mahender has five criminal cases registered against him,On Nov. 23, the man’s body was found in the 300 block of South Vali Avenue. Two suspects were seen running eastbound on Olympic Boulevard in the area.
The second suspect, identified as 28-year-old Eric Daniel Deleon, also of Pico Rivera, is still wanted for questioning. He is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Police believe Deleon may be receiving help from friends or acquaintances to avoid location.
