News Now: Injury Update from Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace: Roy Hodgson addresses Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze’s injuries.

In Crystal Palace’s 3-2 victory over Sheffield United, match-winning players Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze were substituted due to injuries, and Roy Hodgson conceded he would have to wait to find out how serious the injuries were.

Palace relieved manager Roy Hodgson of some of the burden, as Eze scored twice and Olise picked up two assists and a goal. They moved up to 14th place in the Premier League with their second win in 13 games.

After missing three games due to a hamstring injury, Olise was making his comeback when he was substituted as a precaution in minute 67. After a sprint, Eze felt his hamstring and left the race after 78 minutes.

Hodgson stated, “We’re waiting to find out the prognosis.” “Hopefully, both of them will be present when they play Brighton.”

Michael seems to be doing okay. That was just awful with Eze. He felt his hamstring a little after the explosive dash into the box.

Regarding the two performers’ individual performances, Hodgson stated, “I was very pleased with two things.” During the first sixty or so minutes of their time together, we looked excellent and asked a lot of questions. However, Sheffield United deserve all the credit for their two goals.

“I believe you’ll discover that all the other football teams, even the ones that are close to the top of the league, rely heavily on one or two of their great players to succeed.

“That kind of creative creativity is not unusual for a team to need in order to bring everyone through.

We’ve been struggling with the criticism that we haven’t won many games. That is accurate, but those were not insignificant performances. I’ve never thought that you’re not good if you’re not winning. I think this group has a strength and quality that will carry it through.Regarding Eze and Olise, Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder continued, saying, “You could see it lighting up Palace.” I doubt Palace and Dougie [Freedman] would agree to pay £50 million for any of those lads. Olise may have benefited from a few more days off. Those boys have individual skills that can blow your strategy.
