ichael Olise’s contract, believed to be in the region of £35m, but it seems Olise has decided to stay at Crystal Palace for the time being.
“Palace chairman Steve Parish said Olise’s decision to renew his contract puts ‘to bed a lot of speculation’ and ‘lifts everybody’.
“Olise is a highly-rated young talent, and it appears he sees Crystal Palace as the best place for his development at this stage of his career.
“This decision will be seen as a blow to Chelsea, who have been active in the transfer market this summer, signing players like Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia for significant fees.
“However, Olise’s decision to stay at Palace could be seen as a positive sign for the club, as they look to rebuild under new manager Patrick Vieira and consolidate their position in the Premier League.”
