Game against Reds call off: white sox head coach cancel game against reds due to…..

With a lower-leg injury, third baseman Yoan Moncada left Tuesday’s game, adding to the Sox’s mounting injury list. Looks like Moncada is going to be added to the list of injured players, joining outfielders Eloy Jimenez and Luis Robert Jr. who are currently sidelined.

The Sox never expected to be a great baseball club going into the 2024 campaign, but their season has rapidly deteriorated after they lost three of their most important offensive players.

Against Chicago’s anticipated starting lineup, Bibee has surrendered just one single hit. Not having Robert and Jimenez in the lineup, along with Moncada’s injury, makes it difficult for me to back the Sox in this game.

I think Bibee is a little overvalued, but he’s still a good major-league pitcher. The Sox are going to have a difficult night at the plate because Chicago’s lone hitter with a slugging percentage above.450 is first baseman Andrew Vaughn.

I would be cautious of yesterday’s attacking performance. They won’t be offering Fedde any run support, in my opinion. Fedde showed promise in his first few starts of this season and pitched exceptionally well throughout his season-long stint abroad.

With a 26% CSW thus far this year, Fedde may be inflating his ERA a little.

He’s not missing enough bats and he’s still giving up a lot of fly balls, so I can’t claim with confidence that he can stop the Guardians’ bats. Here, I want no involvement with the Sox.
