DAbdullah Almutairi, the head coach of Nepal’s men’s national football team, has made the difficult decision to resign from his position. In a statement posted on his Facebook account, Almutairi ring a press conference on Monday following the Super Bowl, Reid declared his position.
“I haven’t given retiring a second thought,” he declared. “People are always inquiring. Actually, I haven’t been there. I haven’t given it much thought.

Abdullah Almutairi, the head coach of Nepal’s men’s national football team, has made the difficult decision to resign from his position. In a statement posted on his Facebook account, Almutairi cited ongoing conflicts with the senior vice-president of the All-Nepal Football Association (ANFA), Pankaj Numbing, as the reason for his resignation. He expressed his frustration with the situation, mentioning that Nambung’s actions over the past three weeks have made his role untenable.
Appointed as head coach in April 2021, Almutairi represented Nepal in FIFA World Cup qualifiers during his tenure. However, the discord with ANFA’s senior leadership has led to his departure from the team.
