Seamus Coleman, the captain of the Republic of Ireland, and his wife Rachel have announced the birth of their second child.

The Irish soccer player and his spouse welcomed a daughter into the world early on Tuesday. The club shared the adorable family photo and then congratulated the couple on the birth of their new baby.

The couple opted to name their new baby Ellie, as the article also disclosed.

Holding his older daughter Lily, Seamus is seen in the photo looking down at the newborn.

Seamus shared the same picture to show off his happiness at meeting baby Ellie.

“Our beautiful baby girl Ellie Coleman, weighing a healthy 7 lbs. 4.5 oz., was born at 7:25 a.m.”

In June 2015, Seamus and Rachel tied the wedding, and they have been married for more than two years.

The childhood sweethearts tied the knot in a grandiose summer wedding in the footballer’s native county of Donegal.

Lily, the couple’s first child, was born in February 2016.
