very sad and painful steeler club have just fired one of the keys players his leaving steeler very painful…..

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, who was involved in a car accident on Saturday in West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away. Haskins was 24 years old.

The devastating news was disclosed by Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin in a statement on Saturday.

Tomlin said, “I am devastated and at a loss for words with Dwayne Haskins’ unfortunate passing.” “Upon arriving in Pittsburgh, he quickly became a member of the Steelers family and was one of our hardest workers, both on the field and in our community.”

Haskins was involved in a “fatal vehicle vs pedestrian crash” early on Saturday morning at roughly 6:30 a.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol in West Palm Beach.

Lt. Indiana Miranda sent an email to NBC News claiming that the football player was attempting to cross the I-595 westbound lanes while on “a limited access facility for unknown reasons” because of oncoming traffic. That’s when he collided with an oncoming dump truck.

Miranda said that the investigation into the traffic homicide is still ongoing, and that Haskins was pronounced dead at the scene.

“I’m truly devastated,” Tomlin said, “but he was also a great teammate. Dwayne was a fantastic friend to a great number of people.” “During this trying time, our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Calabria, and his entire family.”

Haskins, a former standout quarterback at Ohio State University, will turn 25 next month.

Haskins smashed Big Ten records, finished third in the Heisman Trophy voting, and became one of the greatest college football players despite only having one season as a starter.
