After Nottingham Forest was given less points than Everton, Everton supporters became enraged.
An impartial panel deducted four points from Forest for not adhering to the Premier League’s sustainability and profitability regulations. They will enter the relegation zone as a result of the deduction, and Luton Town will pass them in the battle for survival.
Although Nuno Espirito-Santo’s team is still very much in danger of going down, the Merseyside’s’ supporters were not pleased that Forest received two fewer points than the Toffees for identical offenses.
