Omari Hutchinson, who is on loan from Ipswich Town, is a nominee for the February Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month title.
The adaptable striker scored or assisted in five straight games, scoring against Millwall and Swansea City and setting up goals for Nathan Broadhead against West Brom, Rotherham United, and Birmingham City.
Consequently, he was voted by Town’s supporters as Player of the Month for the month of February. Now that he’s competing against three other elite performers, he has an opportunity to win the Championship prize.Ike Ugbo of Sheffield Wednesday, Josh Sargent of Norwich City, and Ilia Gruev of Leeds United are the other nominees. The winner will be revealed on March 8th, a Friday.
EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch, Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies, and EFL specialist Don Goodman from Sky Sports make up the judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month award.
