QB Marvin Harrison Jr. of the Kansas City Chiefs just announced his exit.

It’s possible that Marvin Harrison Jr., a non-quarterback, will be the first pick chosen in the April 2024 NFL Draft. His current priorities are getting ready for the bowl game.

The junior Ohio State receiver stated that he is “waiting to see how the rest of this year plays out” before deciding on his future and that his focus is on bowl practices with his teammates in an interview that aired on the Big Ten Network.

When questioned about his draft position, Harrison responded, “Just staying with one another, getting better during bowl prep.” Bowl practices are something I always look forward to since they’re so thrilling. I’m excited to go out there and compete against our defense, which has been excellent all year. It kind of feels like spring ball again, and you’re not really game-planning for a team just yet.

Harrison had a fantastic junior season in Columbus, winning both the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and Receiver of the Year awards. The contender for the Belitnikoff Award finished with 67 receptions for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns, although he fell short of his breakthrough performance as a sophomore.

If Michigan defeats No. 16 Iowa in the Big Ten Championship game on Saturday night at Lucas Oil Stadium, they will have the opportunity to record back-to-back perfect regular seasons.

Regarding his future with the Buckeyes, Harrison was forthright, saying that the team’s 37-3 victory over Minnesota in Week 12 may have been his last game at Ohio Stadium.

Harrison said, “When I look back on everything, I didn’t think I would accomplish as much as I did in this place over my career. Though it’s not yet done, playing in front of those supporters every Saturday was undoubtedly a unique experience in a unique setting. It’s undoubtedly something I will miss.

There’s still a possibility for No. 6 Ohio State (11-1, 8-1 Big Ten) to qualify for the College Football Playoff, but the dream has to fall through during conference championship weekend.

Harrison should be available for the postseason should the Buckeyes advance to the final four. If not, it’s unclear what his condition will be for Ohio State’s championship game. Harrison also intends to wait to make a choice until Sunday, following selection.
