Breaking News: two tampa bay buccaneers players who willing to come back next season….

Two players from the Tampa Bay Bucs who are willing to return for the upcoming season and two who do

Let’s now briefly discuss the players that the Bucs cannot afford to lose. One of the best safeties in football, Antoine Winfield Jr., is the cornerstone of this defense. With a career-high 11 passes defensed so far this season, he is quietly having one of his greatest campaigns to date. He needs just 1.5 sacks to tie a career high and six tackles to establish a new one.

Winfield needs to stay put, but the cornerback position needs assistance. Pay the man now, please. He is deserving of it.

It’s reasonable to assume that the Bucs may have regretted not offering Mike Evans a deal before the season began, as he had demanded. Rather, Tampa Bay offered him the chance to wager on himself, and Evans seized the opportunity. Evans could just smile and offer the front office film of his 75-yard touchdown this past week in a “what have you done for me lately?” league.

Evans is now enjoying his fifth season with at least ten touchdowns and his fifth season with 1,000 yards. The man is a whole machine. He only does his job, hence the Bucs making the grave error of ignoring his request for a new contract before the season will be remembered. They now run the danger of watching him sign with the Chiefs or another club and go on to win a championship and maybe light the league on fire.
