Star player for the Las Vegas Raiders, Maxx Crosby, talks candidly about Antonio Pierce’s arrival with Fox News Digital.

In the midst of the season, the Los Vegas Raiders underwent a change in leadership, removing Josh McDaniels and installing Antonio Pierce as the new head coach for the balance of the campaign.

Even though it appeared that the Raiders would not make the playoffs, Pierce went 5-4 in his first season as the team’s interim head coach, and the team finished 8-9. Defense end Maxx Crosby was one of the players that benefited from Pierce’s teaching philosophy.

The three-time Pro Bowler expressed his excitement about having Pierce as his head coach at Fox News Digital.

“Having coaches from such disparate backgrounds is difficult,” Crosby remarked. It’s easy to show up to work and not have a good time when you have a genuine leader—a man—someone who is well-liked by everyone in the building’s locker room. He discusses it frequently. A group of adult guys are playing this game meant for children.

It’s obviously a pretty severe matter. It is imperative that you take your work very seriously. It does not imply that you are not having fun. It doesn’t mean you don’t arrive at work full of enthusiasm and prepared to enjoy yourself while performing at the top of your game. He teaches that he wants all people to be in harmony with the same energy and frequency. And those are the kind of folks we currently have, and those are the guys he’s bringing in. Thus, we will just continue to develop and advance this project.”

Speaking to Fox News Digital on behalf of his relationship with Invisalign, Crosby stated that going forward, the team must prioritize completing games.

The Raiders lost five of their nine games by a score or less. The Kansas City Chiefs are positioned to dominate the AFC West for a long time, so it will be the little things that matter.

He stated, “For us, there are definitely things we have to address in the draft and in free agency.” We went 5–4, though, based on what we have. Every loss we had was quite near. I believe that completing games is crucial, as is carrying on with the Raiders’ brand of football. Bring that back, naughty dudes. And I think we’ve got it going. It all comes down to acquiring more players who are willing to put in that kind of time and effort as we approach the offseason.

“When it comes to it, I am aware that I am the leader. Guys that are all on the same level are what I desire. My approach is to always encourage my teammates to be authentic. That is the AP’s position. I advocate for that. It all comes down to putting your best self forward while you’re playing on the field, not second-guessing or hesitating. It all comes down to having faith in your job, your body, your methods, and the hard work you put in throughout the offseason, and then putting it all on display on Sundays.
