Breaking News: BSB Brands Hatch Race One…

Danny Kent secured his first-ever British Superbike victory in his 100th race during the opening round at Brands Hatch. Kent’s triumph marked a milestone in the Championship.

Ryan Vickers, also on a Yamaha, took second place for OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing. Vickers, set to leave BSB after the weekend, is eyeing victories in the remaining two races.

Reigning Champion Tommy Bridewell finished third, riding for Honda Racing UK. Bridewell outpaced his competitors and narrowed the points gap to Kyle Ryde with two races left in the Championship.

Despite a poor start, Ryde, from OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing, battled back to claim fourth place at the finish line.

Peter Hickman earned his first top-five finish of 2024 for FHO Racing BMW, capping off a challenging season with a strong showing on Saturday.

Max Cook returned to the top ten, finishing sixth for Completely Motorbikes Kawasaki.

Two-time champion Josh Brookes ended in seventh, unable to match his FHO Racing BMW teammate but still delivering a solid performance.

Lewis Rollo showcased his wet-weather skills once again on his Aprilia, initially in podium contention but slipping to eighth as the race progressed.

Close behind Rollo, Storm Stacey finished ninth for LKQ Euro Car Parts Kawasaki, securing valuable points in what could be his final weekend in BSB.

James Westmoreland completed the top ten aboard his Cumins by Team IWR Honda.
