Clark is set to participate in the Annika Driven by Gainbridge tournament on Wednesday, November 13. Additionally, she will serve as a panelist at the Women’s Leadership Summit the day before. This will be her second tournament appearance, having previously competed in the 2023 John Deere Classic Pro-Am alongside PGA Tour veteran Zach Johnson.
The Iowa native attracted a large crowd at the 2023 Pro-Am event, and her presence is expected to boost attendance at the Annika tournament in November.
Since wrapping up her rookie season, which saw her lead the Indiana Fever to the postseason for the first time since 2016, the 22-year-old has shown interest in golf. The LPGA has eagerly welcomed one of the most popular female athletes in the world.
“I love golf, so the chance to play in a Pro-Am for a tournament named after a legend like Annika Sorenstam is incredibly exciting,” Clark said regarding her Pro-Am participation. “Gainbridge® is a leader in supporting women’s sports, and their commitment to me and the event is evident,” she added.
Clark became an ambassador for Gainbridge last year while still in college. The financial firm also boasts women’s sports icons like Billie Jean King and Annika Sorenstam as brand ambassadors.
“I have been following Caitlin’s career during college and now on the WNBA stage, and what she is doing to elevate women’s sports both on and off the court is remarkable,” said Annika Sorenstam about the talented athlete.
Clark’s team finished with a score of 5-under par at the John Deere Pro-Am in 2023. Given her competitive spirit, she is likely aiming for an even better performance at the Annika Driven by Gainbridge next month.
