A young Brampton man has died following an incident near Bracebridge over the weekend involving a Sea-Doo, say police.

Local emergency crews were called to a water-related incident on the Indian River, just west of Mirror Lake in Muskoka Lakes Township, around 6 p.m. on June 1 after a man failed to resurface after falling into the water.
According to the Bracebridge detachment of Ontario Provincial Police, a young man operating a Sea-Doo was “ejected into the water while executing a maneuver and failed to resurface.”
A search began immediately and the 23-year-old Brampton man was brought to shore, say police.
Life-saving efforts were carried out, but were unsuccessful, add police.
