News Now:Women’s Rowing Releases 2024-25 Season Schedule..

The Syracuse Women’s Rowing team has unveiled its fall and spring schedules, starting with the 59th Head of the Charles Regatta on Oct. 20. The Orange will make their first west coast trip in years to race against Cal and Stanford at Redwood Shores. The defending ACC champions will compete twice this fall and seven times in the spring, including the ACC and NCAA Championships in May.

 

Head coach Luke McGee, now in his seventh season, will begin the fall campaign in Boston at the Head of the Charles Regatta and conclude with a race against Cornell in Ithaca, N.Y., on Nov. 2.

In the spring, Syracuse will defend its first-ever ACC title, starting with a scrimmage against Virginia on March 15 in Charlottesville, followed by the Big10/ACC/Ivy Duals on March 22 in Cherry Hill, N.J. April highlights include the Cayuga Cup against Yale and Cornell in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and a west coast trip to race ACC opponents Stanford and Cal at Redwood Shores.

The team will finish April with races against Princeton, Tennessee, and Ohio State in Princeton, N.J., on April 26. The ACC Championship takes place on May 17 at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C., and the NCAA Championship on May 31 at Lake Mercer in West Windsor, N.J.
