Breaking News: marko red bull will focus on its junior drivers…

Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has emphasized that the team will prioritize its junior drivers for future lineups rather than pursuing established Formula 1 stars. Red Bull is looking for a driver to partner Max Verstappen, as current teammate Sergio Perez has struggled to keep pace, earning only 41 points in the last 12 races compared to Verstappen’s 195. This has impacted Red Bull’s performance in the constructors’ title race, where McLaren has taken a lead.

While George Russell, a race winner with Mercedes, could be an option after his contract expires in 2025, Marko dismissed this likelihood. He acknowledged Russell’s talent but said Red Bull is more focused on developing its junior drivers, such as Franco Colapinto, who has shown remarkable progress. Marko also highlighted the performances of other Red Bull juniors like Yuki Tsunoda, Liam Lawson, and Formula 2 contenders Isack Hadjar, Colapinto, and Oliver Bearman.

Marko believes the success of these young drivers proves that teams no longer need to rely on those with several years of Formula 1 experience. Instead, Red Bull sees potential in nurturing fresh talent for future success.
