News Now:The Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up to face…

The Cincinnati Bengals earned their first win of the season last week, beating the struggling Carolina Panthers. This week, however, they face a tougher test as they host the Baltimore Ravens in their first AFC North matchup.

Lamar Jackson and the Ravens (2-2) bring the league’s top offense, averaging 429.5 yards per game. New addition, running back Derrick Henry, leads the NFL’s best rushing attack with 220.3 yards per game. Baltimore averages 26.5 points per game, ranking fifth, while the Bengals defense has struggled to limit scoring.

On a positive note, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow appears back in form after a wrist injury sidelined him in 2023. Burrow had a strong performance in Cincinnati’s 34-24 win over Carolina, completing 22 of 31 passes for 232 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He’s completed 70.9% of his passes this season and re-established his connection with star receiver Ja’Marr Chase. Running back Chase Brown also shined, rushing for 80 yards and scoring twice.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh praised Burrow’s precise play and leadership. Meanwhile, Baltimore’s offense, after a slow start, hit its stride in last week’s 35-10 win over the Buffalo Bills, with Henry racking up 199 rushing yards and two touchdowns, and Jackson adding two touchdown passes.
